Butterfly Area provides access to the University’s education and research on sustainability-related themes.
We are aiming to engage the private sector with the intention of co-creating knowledge and reinvigorate the local territory.

Interested?

Join the Butterfly Ecosystem and develop Butterfly Area together with the University of Turin. Collaborate with us as we create the research and technology area that will host businesses and research institutions at the City of Science and the Environment.

How it works

  • State your desire to collaborate with Butterfly Area as an “interested party” by filling in the expression of interest form (Participate).
  • Actively participate in the discussion with other businesses and with our community so that, together, we can plan future innovation and research projects.

If you then wish to formalise our relationship, you can sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Download the MoU form, and send the completed version to butterflyarea@unito.it

By participating in the Butterfly Ecosystem, you will:

  • Join the short list of those with access to Butterfly Area services and the facility
  • Launch initial negotiations with the University about the use of the facility
  • Be constantly updated as to the progress of the construction project
  • Be able to propose training and research ideas, and suggest the type of services that businesses may be interested in
